My needle shape is replaced by 3 lines. Can any body help to get the original shape? What type of XY graph is required to have original needle shape?

Hi pmhaps

The needle of the dial widget is actually made up of three lines to form a long, thin triangle (the needle).

When these lines are given a thickness of 7pt the three lines are rendered into a needle shape.

The widget calculations sheet performs the mathematics to transform a value (e.g. 25 out of 100) into an angle (i.e. 45 degrees) which calculates the X-Y graph for the needle.

Hope this makes sense and feel free to post a screen capture or mobile phone photo of your problem.

By the way, which version of Excel are you using?

Cheers
